What's Next?
After about two months of editing, rewriting, and obsessing over grammar- something I rarely do on my usual Substack articles as I hate to edit myself while writing, I finished compiling my last three years of writing into a book of essays. After spending so many days and nights going over all the life experiences I put down in writing I now feel a bit lost on what’s next. I assume it will come to me eventually. Maybe I need a small hiatus to let the creativity find itself.
After spending the last three years documenting my reluctant entrance into middle age and mildly debilitating fear of mirrors, I now wonder what stage of life is next for me to conquer and convey to you, my loyal readers!
Although, if you are a loyal reader, you may have already read a good majority of what is in my book, but I am so proud to have a self published book!! It took a lot of work to figure out how to launch this project on my own without using A.I. or paying someone to do the tedious research. I hope you will purchase a paperback copy. And if you ask nicely I will autograph it and mail it to you personally. Cause I’m caring like that :)
I’m both excited and scared of what the next three years of writing will entail.
Preparing for the multitude of discounts I shall receive as an official senior citizen at the age of fifty-five? Finally joining a dating app for the first time in my life? Becoming rich and finally adopting that cute mixed race baby I have always dreamed of?
The possibilities are endless, and my hope is currently on the upswing. What more could I ask from life?
Book release for both Kindle and Paperback for purchase through Amazon is set for April 1st. I will be sending out a message with links to purchase. And for those that want an autographed copy mailed to them you can email me at jenmurphylive@gmail.com.
Have a wonderful weekend and THANK YOU if you are reading this!
